Sketches.23 was recorded primarily in West Oakland and San Francisco in 2023. The project began as an open-ended experiment—an attempt to explore our own sound in a playful, intuitive way.

We felt the urge to release these sketches because in a time of great uncertainty for both of our lives, the experience of playing and creating music together became a compass—something steady amidst the chaos.
